Equipment360 automates your preventative maintenance (PM) on a schedule that alerts you when your equipment is approaching its next service. The benefit of this alert is that it gives you time to plan rather than having to be reactive at the last minute. Time allows the Equipment Manager to understand the scope of work and prepare parts, give notice to the field when the equipment should be brought back, and equally balance the future workload for mechanics.
When the Equipment Manager takes action on a PM alert, the system gives the option to create a work order from a template that can include a description of the service, estimated manhours and referenced parts, and attachments like the part of the service manual in pdf form.
The Equipment360 Checklists that are available on version 2021, and newer, can now be included in the preventative maintenance setups. This can replace the need for a mechanic to open a PDF of the service manual with a digitized checklist of every step that needs to happen in this service. This makes it even easier to document the required steps for standard maintenance work orders, and makes it clear to the mechanic what still needs to be done. In summary, the checklists allow you to standardize your workflow and train with repeatable processes.
The customizeable checklists can be associated with PM services, equipment annual inspections, standard procedures, shop checklists for shop WO’s, or they can be added on the fly from the manager or field system. The default way to confirm you have completed the checklist item is with a checkbox. However, you can also change this to be a pass/fail, Entry of a Number value, Entry of a text, or use of a list picker to designate a value.
Furthermore, you can group your checklist items together to organize multiple lists for the mechanics when they are completing more complicated repairs or maintenance.
