Our fleet users asked us to create a paperless solution to replace stacks of hand-written forms that were being used to request equipment repairs and report meter readings. With Equipment360, there are several automated solutions to this problem including integration between HeavyJob, Dispatcher or GPS.
However, if you only own Equipment360, or you would like more eyes on your equipment to keep maintenance schedules current, we’ve developed an app for you. The Maintenance Request app is a free and paperless web-based application to report meters, hour readings, or maintenance issues for equipment. Users with the proper HCSS Credentials can provide increased communication, and clarity to your shop. The best part is that you can give this to as many users as you like.
The setup is very simple. Your HCSS Apps Administrator can add this free subscription to any new or existing Credentials Subscription Group. Once a user profile is added to that Subscription Group, the user can log in from any web browser to mr.hcssapps.com. We recommend that you save it as a home icon on your iOS or Android device to access it quickly.
When you submit a maintenance request through the app, it creates an alert on the Equipment360 Manager’s dashboard. Your equipment manager can choose to create a work order and assign a mechanic to handle it, or they can put it on the backlog for the next time maintenance is due or simply ignore the request. When you send in the current meter reading for a piece of equipment, it will update the meter or hour reading within Equipment360 as long as it makes sense with the current reading. This is important for driving the maintenance schedules on time and extending the life of your equipment.
