Yes! HCSS HeavyBid can save you from costly mistakes by automating your backups based on either time or by action. The frequency of these backups, and where they are stored are all part of the easy setup. If you have any questions about it, our support is here to help.
The two options for HeavyBid automated backups are: Time-based automated backups to offer a safety net to fall on where some changes could be lost but not work for the entire day, and Action-based automated backups, which will save you from major structure or cost changes made to an estimate. There is not an undo button, so this backup could provide you the chance to take a step back from a major change.

For our fleet users, the Equipment360 Manager’s managed tasks can schedule a regularly occurring SQL database backups. This could be helpful if you do not already have scheduled SQL maintenance that does this in the background.
With each of these types of backups, there is always the danger of ransomware infecting them. It is recommended that you have a plan to keep a copy of your backups in a location that is not connected to your network. You can see how the Department of Homeland Security follows a simple 3-2-1 rule of: Three copies of your data, on Two different types of media, with One copy offsite.
