The latest version of HCSS Field 2020.5 and above added a feature that flattens forms generated from the field app before you email them. This benefits the sender because the forms they create will not be easily or accidentally changed or altered after the fact.
If you are not already familiar with HCSS Forms, this HCSS Academy course will walk you through the basics, and how to set up the data fields. So why should you use HCSS Forms with your field app? HCSS field users are already generating daily log and time card entries. This data can be used to automatically populate forms that may be important to highlight what happened in the field for reports.
Daily Production Template to Share Information with Owners
Here is a downloadable template that will save you time from double entering information. This form template reports a foreman or supervisor’s daily production. It includes fields you can draw from your diary (such as working conditions and daily notes). It also has fields where you can automatically pull in the cost codes, production, employees and equipment hours, and the material charged for the day.
This can be a great starting point for you to customize your own form with your logo and information to create customer-facing reports.
A second blank page has been included in the pdf so that when the HCSS field user gets to this page, they can long press on the white space and attach images to the form. This method of attachment will allow users to format how they want to layout the images, and when the form is sent, it flattens the images to the pdf so that they cannot be altered.
I recommend watching the above-mentioned HCSS Academy course to see the forms in action. If you need any help with setting up forms, or getting the right setup, call our support. We are available to you every day, all the time.
