Nearly every company struggles with getting timecards approved in a timely manner. The complication of sorting through hundreds of time cards, understanding which were signed and not signed, which foremen are missing time for a day in the week, and which cards have been marked ‘approved’ by payroll are some of the problems that can be quickly solved by using this payroll’s tool of choice: the Time Card Management Tool.

The Time Card Management Tool slides out from the right side of the HeavyJob desktop Manager system. If you do not see it, you can access it from the Utilities Menu, then select Time Card Management Tool. It looks like this:

Unfolding this construction payroll tool from the side will give you the power to filter through time cards with ease. You can set a date range, search through supervisors, and find out if the time cards had already been approved by payroll or if they still need to be addressed. You can also find out which foremen are missing time cards. Once you gather the time cards, you can click on an individual time card, and it will open that specific job with the foreman’s time card. This will allow you to easily jump from one job to another, understand the scope of work you have to address, and complete your approvals.

Top payroll users have also implemented the Job Review Tool as well to improve the quality of the time cards that are being submitted from the field.
