The Assessment Happens in Three Steps

Step 1

Kickoff and Discovery

Your journey begins with an in-depth discovery call where we listen to your goals, and learn what is getting in your way. Understanding your business is important to the success of your assessment. We ask questions that will help us understand the current state of your business, and together we decide how to move forward.

Step 2

Department Workshops

We interview and observe how each department uses HCSS software, and we help you identify process improvements and features that would provide the most value. We survey each software user to tells us how they are using it, their perception of its effectiveness, and what will help them do their job better. With your company’s decision-makers, we evaluate the results, and finalize a list of goals and outcomes desired.

Step 3

Analysis Review

Now that we have a clear picture of how your company uses HCSS software, we will build a detailed assessment report that highlights the opportunities to get better with the software. We present the findings to your stakeholders and then help prioritize the items to ultimately build a company-wide plan to utilize the software better.

Lewis joined HCSS in June of 2007, and is an HCSS Engagement Manager. He has a passion for process improvement and helping people become more efficient with HCSS software. His vast knowledge of HeavyJob, HCSS Safety, Dispatcher, and HeavyBid and integration with 3rd party software helps customers understand their business and needs to grow. Lewis was an implementation specialist for a number of years before leading the Implementation group where he founded the 90 day proven process still used today.

Estimating Success Manager

For the past 30 years, Ray has held positions as an Estimator, Project Manager, or Chief Estimator for civil construction companies operating in Ohio, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Norwalk and Connecticut. He has a heart of a teacher, and takes pride in listening well to others before offering advice.
